He was predeceased by : his sister Cathy Monahan. He is survived by : his siblings, Thomas Monahan of South Boston, Stephen Monahan of South Boston, Ellen Monahan of Utah and Rosemarie Monahan; and his children, David Lawson of Pennsylvania, Melissa Simon, Larry Thomas of Malden Ma and Kimberly Monahan of Everett Ma. He is also survived by several loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Casper Funeral Home (187 Dorchester St, Boston, MA 02127).
