He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin F. Kane and Helen M. Kane (Keefe); his siblings, Thomas Pynn (Helen), Martin Kane Jr. (Debbie) and Catherine; and his sister-in-law Mary Devlin (Leo McGonagle).
He is survived by: his wife Joan M. Kane (Devlin); his children, Boston Firefighter Dennis M. Kane and Allison Grealy (Dedham Fire Department); his siblings, Geraldine Fasy and Jimmy Kane; and his siblings-in-law, Jack, Dee Devlin, Tom, Laura Devlin, Kathy, Jim Charbonnier, Jimmy Devlin and Janice Devlin.
