He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Philip Amara and Domenica Amara (Imprescia) of East Boston; his wife Frances M. Amara (Giuffrida) of East Boston; his son Philip D. Amara (Hiroko) of Swampscott; and his brother James Amara (Nancy) of Georgia. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
