Doreen J. McNamara Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doreen J. McNamara (Boston, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence McNamara; and her parents, Raymond and Bernice. She is survived by: her child Even; her siblings, Pat, Phil and Kenny; her nieces and nephews, Garrett, John, Charlie and Mary; her siblings, Jean and Richard (Loretta); her sister-in-law Mary Jane; and her children, Kevin (Karen), Michael Abington (Patricia), Robert (Marie), Eilene (Doug), Laurie Swanke (Mark) and Kathleen Landers (John). She is also survived by grandchildren, their spouses, and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Doreen's memory may be made to St John Chrysostom Church in West Roxbury.
