It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Lee Perry of Boston, Massachusetts, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Helen Wade Greene Perry and Albert Dean Perry; his wife Slocumb "Cokie" Perry; his pet Ozzie; his sister-in-law Anne Hollis Perkins; his nieces and nephews, Annie and Jamie Ireland; and his sister-in-law Rachel Claflin. He was also cherished by his brother Wade's children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers he would be honored by contributions to the Boston Lyric Opera, New England Conservatory of Music, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Boston Symphony Orchestra, and The Huntington Theatre.
