She is survived by: her husband Jose Heleno Brito Pontes; her children, Judi Pontes (Domingos Fernandes) of California, Teresa Maria Barros (Pedro Barros) of Boston, Maria Teresa Pontes (Gabriel DaRosa) of Boston, Ildeberto "Bert" Pontes of Boston, Docelina "Darcy" Pontes of Weston, Crisolita Pontes-Alves (Jean Alves) of South Easton, Kelby Pontes of Boston, Rosa "Tina" Pontes of Holbrook, Leocadio Pontes and Diogenes Pontes; her brothers, Antonio Gomes DePina and João Barbosa Amado; and her uncle Cape Verdean. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and dozens of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
