He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Theresa Thompson (Murphy); his sister Geraldine DeCelle (Thompson); his brother-in-law Ronald DeCelle; and his cousins, Marie Power (Maguire) and Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his brother John Thompson; his sibling-in-law Madelyne Thompson; his sibling's children, Karen Hanley, John Thompson (Ann Marie), Ronald Thompson (late Donna Landry) and Theresa Aleman (Victor); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Siobhan Thompson, Shane Thompson, Devin Thompson, Kelly Green, Stephanie Hanley, Edward Hanley, Stacy Landry, David Landry, Emily Aleman, Matthew Aleman and Laura Aleman; his cousin Eileen Fitzgerald; Green, Daly and Shearion.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) (1545 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02120).
