He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hilty and Mary Hilty (Shriver); his wife Josephine Hilty (Jo) of Anthony's Church; and his siblings, John, Margaret Martin (Peg), Richard, Ronald, Harold, Ralph, Carl and Leland.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Sarro of Lynnfield, Diane Lancaster (Mike) of Foxborough, JoAnne Civiello (John) of Virginia and William Hilty (Heather) of Peabody; and his brothers, James Hilty of Pennsylvania and Dennis Hilty of Alabama.
