She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Hamilton and Minnie Hamilton; and her husband George Singleton. She is survived by: her children, George Jr., Kevin, Ivan and Charnette; and her sister Grace Hamilton-Gray. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In her later days she was disheartened that she could not frequent the Goodwill as often due to the global pandemic but that did not shorten her time calling those same friends over the phone and talking about what they were finding.
