He was predeceased by: his parents, Cynthia Edith Elmslie and William Corsane Weir; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Susan Bonner-Weir of Cambridge; his siblings, Vivien Russe (Michael Hetzel) of South Portland, Maine and Bill Weir (Geri Weir) of Marathon, Florida; his sister-in-law Roz Weir of Westport, Massachusetts; his daughters, Dascha of Brookline and Kytja of Washington, D. C.; and his sons-in-law, Dru Krishnan and Binyamin Appelbaum. He is also survived by five grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
