She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Eugene Grieshaber and Edith Somers Grieshaber Cowles; and her siblings, Hugo Greishaber, Frederica and Katrina Grieshaber.
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Higgins and Peter Higgins of New York City; her daughter-in-law Danielle Higgins; and her grandchildren, Ronin Higgins and Colette Higgins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dinoto Funeral Home (17 Pearl St, Mystic, CT 06355). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Groton Long Point Casino (44 Beach Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
