She is survived by: her children, Greggory Swain, Sr. (Ralph), Victor Swain (Pamela), Phyllis J. John (Gary), Diane Swain and Virginia Lender-Turner (Paul); her grandchildren, LaWan Swain, Raffeya Daniels, Greggory Swain, Jr. (Stacy), Jordan Swain, Breana Gonsalves (Jonathan), Gary John, Jr., Simone John (Terrin), Chanelle John, Bonae Swain-Price (Brandi), Damika Neale, Jamell Hankins, Victoria Garrett and Victor Swain, Jr.; her siblings, Stanley Jemison and Pauline Robinson; and her siblings-in-law, Isaac Rutledge, Dave Brown and Dorothy E. Carter. She is also survived by 22 great- grandchildren, 7 great-great- grandchildren, and countless friends, niece's nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church (230 Warren St, Boston, MA 02119). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
