He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Newell Guthrie and Alice May Hines Guthrie; and his wife Elsa Hildegard Gunther. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise McPherson (Barry) of Newburg, Paula Guthrie-Scott (Mary) of Eugene and Elaine Senff (Les) of Mulino. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
