It is with sadness that the passing of James Daniel McElroy Jr. (Boston, Massachusetts) is shared. James Daniel, born on June 21, 1957, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. McElroy Sr. and Grace McElroy (Fresina); and his sister Trisha Grady. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his daughters, Nichole Verbit (Matthew) and Shana Heise (Joseph); his grandchildren, Harlow, Lucas, Hayes Verbit, Joseph James "JJ" and Boden Heise; his siblings, Karen McElroy, Charles "Chuckie" McElroy (Judie) and Doreen "Dody" McElroy (Curtis); and his brother-in-law Johnny Schippers (Rhonda). He is also survived by extended family, including many nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as countless friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Church (1 Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038).
