He is survived by: his wife Marianne Austin; his son Tommy Austin (Lynsey Nimberger) of South Boston; his grandchildren, TJ Monsour, Lyllie Austin, Derek Austin, Ryan Austin and Danny Austin; his siblings, Elaine Manley (Tom), Steven Lydon, Mary Coletti (David) and Joe Lydon; and his siblings-in-law, Marguerite Poleo (Charlie), Gerry Lynch (late Richie), Gertie Nauyokas and Joe.
