He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Roberts, Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth Roberts (Platt); his siblings, Joseph, Martha, Clarence, Shirley, Timothy and Mark; and his children, Tasha Ene and Dana.
He is survived by: his niece Sharna; his siblings, Charles Sr., Betty, David, Lawrence, Rosetha, Donna, Helen and Marlene; his former wife Marcella Furey; his children, Derrick, Kevin and Dia Roberts-Tyler (Darrell); his grandchildren, Vanesha, Dana, Daria, Jakwon, Tamia and Kourtney; and his great grandchildren, Nashanti, Naeem and Norrell. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
