He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Finkelstein and Ted Finkelstein. He is survived by: his cousins, Steve and Mike Weiss; his brother James Finkelstein; his sister-in-law Laurie Ferreri; his pet Sidney; and his friends, Mark Levy and Mark Brown. He is also survived by son; Jim's brother and tennis partner; a loyal friend; a lover of dogs.
A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Temple (5600 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
