We announce the death of Jonathan Leo Fairbanks (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 93. Jonathan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Avard Tennyson Fairbanks and Beatrice Maude Fox; his wife Louisa Eckenbrect; and his brothers, Avard, Eugene, Elliot and Justin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Louise (Channing Harris) of Hamden and Hilary Ann (Timothy Burton) of Dedham; his granddaughter Olivia Marion Harris of Hamden, Connecticut.; and his siblings, David, Grant, Virgil Fairbanks, Georgia Fairbanks and Maria Hansen.
