He is survived by: his wife Fatima; his son Silvio Melo; his stepson Mathew Antao; his daughter Sara Bird; his stepdaughters, Natasha Morais and Veronica Simas; his siblings, Jimmy Melo, Fernanda Tomas, Teresa Melo and Maria Rodrigues; and his grandchildren, Myles Simas, Denise Morais, Jayden Antao, Eric Garcia, Alexis Bird and Cameron Bird.
