As Karen Nyla departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Karen Nyla may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Karen Nyla leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Fredericksen and Doris Fredericksen (Rollins); and her brother Gary Fredericksen. She is survived by: her husband Warren Jones; her children, Larisa and Mark; and her stepchildren, Greg Jones (Faith), Cheryl Welch and Cynthia Fendrick (Don). She is also survived by five step grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Journey Museum (222 New York St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
