With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mae Ola Thompson (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mae Ola departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mae Ola may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mae Ola leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Allen and Johnnie Mae Allen; and her brother Jimmy Allen. She is survived by: her husband Pete Thompson; her children, Randy Thompson and Tracy Thompson; and her grandchildren, Rashawn Thompson and Devonna Curry. She is also survived by friends, church members, and former coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (111 Harvard St, Boston, MA 02121). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
