He is survived by: his wife Amelia Lopes; and his children, Nenezinha, Nela, Mia, Maria Antonia, Nelita, Evelise, Mane, João Manuel, Nelo, Arnaldo, Djedje and Pedro. He is also survived by 47 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and dear friends.
