It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Rudd Thomas (Boston, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 108, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll Thomas Sr.; her son Carroll Thomas Jr.; and her granddaughter Stefania Vanin. She is survived by: her daughter Jo-Anne Thomas Vanin (Vanni); her daughter-in-law Christine Thomas; her grandchildren, Melissa Backus (Richard), Brian Thomas (Annette), Nino Vanin (Lauren) and Francesca Ramirez (Amaury); her great grandchildren, Connor, Lillianna, Angelia and Tristan Thomas; and her grandchildren, Leo, Nolan Backus, Marco, Gia Vanin, Amelia and Valentina Ramirez.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Forest Hills Cemetery (95 Forest Hills Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130).
