He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Flaherty (Coleman); his parents, Helen Coleman (Roberts) and Marshall Coleman Sr.; his siblings, Lilian Taylor, Nola Crew (Coleman) and Simona Patterson (Coleman); his parents-in-law, Ronald Gillis and Mary Gillis (Mansfield); and his siblings-in-law, Deborah "Dobie" Jenner (Gillis) and Stephen Gillis.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Coleman (Gillis); his son Christopher Coleman; his grandchildren, Christian Coleman Flaherty and Olivia Coleman; his siblings-in-law, Cindy DelValle (Gillis), Juan DelValle, Danny and Tricia Gillis (Keaney); Ernest Taylor, Ronald Coleman (Diane), Saundra Albers (James), John and Steven Coleman (Kelly).
