He is survived by: his mother Karin M Mulhern (Whooley); his siblings, Mark (Edie) and Mackenzie (Justin); his nieces and nephews, Markie, Sammy, Joia, Matty and Maya; and his grandparents, Maureen Mulhern (late Hank), Ken Morang and Anne Whooley. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home (1803 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theresa of Avila Church (2078 Centre St, Boston, MA 02132).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to South Shore Peer Recovery in memory of Matt.
