With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mattie Thomson (Boston, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon McCrary and Willie May McCrary. She is survived by: her children, Ernest Lee, Stanley, Terral, Lynn, Robin, Charles III, Craig, Karl, Stacee and Christopher. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (1257 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA 02126). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
