He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bazemore and Mary Lou Bazemore. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Leary; his sons, Marvin (Vickie), Michael (Toni) and Maureshawn (Ebony); and his sisters, Etta Rankins of Ahoskie, NC, Alice Rankins of Boston, MA and Mary Bunch of Edenton, NC.
