She was predeceased by: her father Pleasant Ornell James. She is survived by: her mother Clara Lewis James of Boston, MA; and her aunts and uncles, Turner Lewis (Debby) of Boston, Curtis Lewis (Patsy) of Lanett, Alabama, Meltonia James of Panama City, Lenora Turner of Bear and Lera Lewis of Lanett, Alabama. She is also survived by cousins, extended relatives, colleagues, and dear friends.
