She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pearson and Annie Beatrice Pearson; her former husband Willie Martin (James Gooding); her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Seymour, William, Jr., Robert, Lawrence, James and Joseph Pearson; and her grandson James Martin, Jr..

She is survived by: her brother Leonard Pearson, Sr. (Phyllis) of Boston; her sister-in-law Fannie Bell Pearson of Easton; her nieces and nephews, Phyllis "Bunny" Martin of Boston, Willie "Pluggy" Martin (late Ciarra Moss Martin) of Framingham, Mark Martin of Boston, Tracy Hines (Michael Sr.) of Cary, NC and James "Jamie" Martin (Andrea) of Brockton; Willie "Chill" Carrington of Boston. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
