He was predeceased by: his parents, Louella Parkman Blackwell and Readis Blackwell, Sr.; his siblings, Sarah Barnes and Willie Blackwell; and his niece Quintessa Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Melissa Poirier (Cliffton), Dion Webb and Amy Poirier; the mother of his children Anne Poirier; his grandchildren, Daija, Jada, Jasmine, Tyrell, Jeremiah and Alaya; his siblings, Joseph McGee of Boston, MA, Sedgie Ray Blackwell (Gwendolyn) of Boston, MA, Scott Blackwell of Boston, MA, B. Dianne Martin (Raymond) of Boston, MA, Lynder Thomas (Edward) of Boston, MA, Brenda Harmon (James) of Boston, MA and Patricia Pitts (Royzell) of McDonough, GA.; and his sister-in-law Yolanda Blackwell. He is also survived by four aunts, one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
