As we bid Ruthanna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruthanna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kent Welch and Florence Welch. She is survived by: her brother David; her son Joseph Welch; her grandchildren, Beorn Welch and Zina Florence Welch; her boyfriend Paul Thompson; her niece Sabrina Arguello; her great-nephew Essam Welch; and also Zaylee. She is also survived by two nieces, a nephew, several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Paulist Center (5 Park St Pl, Boston, MA 02108).
