We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 90, Sarah-Ann Shaw in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her daughter Klare Shaw (Michael Claytor); her grandchildren, Eric Shaw-Moss (Leatha Bennett), Caroline Amina Shaw-Moss (Anthony Merrell Grant) and Kai Palmer Dunning (Arsema Abegaz); her great grandchild Nyzohn Eric Small; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Bomar Jones (Charles), Lamar Bomar Jr. (Sue), Donna Bomar, Sharon Bomar, Sona Shaw Desmangles (Gregory), Nyanza Shaw, Bijan Bayne, Stuart Perry and Susan Perry; her caregiver Mary Beth Anketell; and also Andrea Rushing. She is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (40 Walk Hill St, Boston, MA 02130). The 2022 Roxbury Unity Day car caravan made her smile during COVID-19, as she saw so many dear friends stop by, honk and wave. 2022 also brought recognition from the Sri Chin Moy "Peace Run" as she received one of its international medals.
