In the vast expanse of eternity, Stephen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stephen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Abarbanel; his wife Ruth Cleveland Robertson; and his mother Eva Vrzalova Abarbanel. He is survived by: his friend Dick Gott.
Ruth and Stephen were very fond of the many cats they had over the years, and so, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
