Syrul Frank Lurie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Syrul Frank Lurie (Boston, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Syrul departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Syrul may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Syrul leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Frank and Lena Simon Frank; and her husband Robert Lurie (Bob). She is survived by: her children, Howard Lurie (Teresa Betit) of South Dartmouth, Mass. and Ellen Lurie (Hoffman) of Bethesda, Maryland.; and her granddaughters, Aliza, Gemma Lurie, Celia, Isabel Hoffman and Haley Sinker.
