He is survived by: his sons, Darius Timothy Powell and Timothy James Powell; and his siblings, Donna, Valerie (Frederick Foxx), Michael (Christina), William Larry (Gwen), Ibraaheem Naazir (Margaret), James Powell and Mikel B. Powell. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of loving friends, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peoples Baptist Church (830 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02118). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
