She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Webster and John Black; her son Rodney Black; and her siblings, Mary Ford, Dorothy Clarke, Annie Doris Solomon, Marion Mitchell, Perry Holmes, Jr., John Black and Tyrone Douglass, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Larry'Bernard'Black (Stephanie) of Goodyear, AZ and Darek Black (Nicole) of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, David Blacksherer of Peekskill, NY, Joyce Hester (Willie, Sr.) of Durham, NC and Gloria Daniels (Larry) of MacClenny, FL.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces/nephews, cousins, sister-in-law, and special friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel A. M. E. Church (40 Walk Hill St, Boston, MA 02130).
