He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Elder (Chapman) and William Henry Gould Elder. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his daughters, Melissa Elder of Somerset, MA and Jennifer Weigle (Kurt) of Fairfax, VA; his granddaughters, Chloe and Zoe; his siblings, Dennis Elder (Mary) of Brockton and Laurie Rice (Tom) of Whitman; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends.
