He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Chisholm and Winifred Chisholm (Little); and his wife Sandra Messina (Messina). He is survived by: his children, Michael Chisholm (Vickie Stringfellow) of East Boston and Kerri-Ann Sowdon (Christopher) of Plymouth; his grandsons, Timothy and Alex; his sister Mary Clarke (late Patrick) of Braintree; his friend Kathy Welch of East Boston; and his sibling's children, Patrick, Mary Theresa and Noreen Clarke. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St. Boston, MA 02141.
