She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bell and Mary Ellen Bell (Robinson); her sisters, Bessie Mae and Inez Bell; and her son Larry Wilson.
She is survived by: her husband Booker T. Wilson; her children, Vernon (Monica), Valerie (Jackie) and Brian (Janita); and her close friend Dot. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
