It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Chandler of Brookline, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Gidez and Tilly Gidez (Smith); her husband Lewis Chandler; her son Scott Chandler; and her brother Melvin Gidez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Chandler Morin (Donald) and Candy Benson (Rick); her grandchildren, Harrison Benson and Dakotah Benson (Brian); and her brother Howard Gidez.
