He is survived by : his children, Deborah of San Francisco, CA, Daniel (Anne) of Ashland, MA and Neil (John Tseng) of Seattle, WA.; his former life partner Caryl Silverman (Yafa) of Longmeadow, MA; and his wife Patricia Silverman (Arline Brightman) of Northampton. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

“Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. David was a great guy. He was my father‘s best friend. I remember him from my earliest childhood memories. I got him mixed up with Hercules. He used to throw me up in the air and catch me. He never forgot my birthday. I always liked hanging out with him and was lucky to spend some time touring Cape Cod with him a couple of summers ago. Also hanging out with him in Brookline, and listening to him reminisce. He will be greatly missed! Jeff Glass”
