It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George J. He was predeceased by : his wife Virginia F. Salah (Hojlo); his granddaughter Elizabeth N. "Liz" Salah; and his siblings, James Salah and Isabel Kreckel. He is survived by : his children, Joseph G. Salah (Paula Powers) of Kingston, Noreen Salah Burpee (Willard A. Burpee) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. and Thomas C. Salah (Beverly) of Canton; his grandchildren, Megan Fearnow, Frederick D. Churbuck, George J. Taylor, Cristen Gardner, Lauren Salah (Patrick Goggin), Ashley and Katelyn Salah; and his great grandchildren, Cole Fearnow, James, Jack Taylor, Emma, Thomas, George Goggin, Benjamin, Matthew, Jacob and Charlotte "Lucy" Gardner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home (376 Washington St, Brookline, MA 02445). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of George may be made to the above named church or the Brookline Firefighters Assoc.
