With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George R. Simard of Brookline, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald and Irene (Magnant). He is survived by: his wife Helen (Osenton); and his children, Elise Gebhardt (Jay) of Denver, Robert Simard (Diane) of Waltham, Lynn O'Leary (Daniel) of Needham, Paula Wilder (Scott) of Natick, Sandra White (William) of Millis and Michele Joyce (Kevin) of Wellesley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
