While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He is survived by: his significant other Sofia Treister; his daughter Anna; his sister Zinaida; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Sara, Esther and Benjamin.
Gregory was very generous with his time, energy, and resources, never hesitating to help out a friend (or a stranger), volunteering at the Boston Marathon year after year, donating to dozens of charities, and driving his four grandchildren around to all their various extracurricular activities.
