He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dr. Sidney Friedman and Ruth Chobol Friedman of Brookline, MA; his brother Dr. Robert "Bob" Friedman; his former life partner Leslie Koran Friedman; his daughter Jessica Friedman Hewitt; his uncle Sandy of Chobol's Miami; his wife Joanne McEwen Friedman; his daughter Jennifer Carlson Peri; his brother Benjamin "Ben" Friedman; his close friend George Levy; his sons-in-law, Daniel Hewitt, Michael Budney and James Peri; his grandchildren, Riley, Caroline, Aaron, Brendon, Ryder and Sam; and his sister-in-law Donna.
