In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mahn had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Mahn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nahm Cheon Jo and Chul Soon Yoo; and his son Steven S. Jo. He is survived by: his wife Oak Dong Jo; his daughters, Eunice S. Feller (Stephen R. Feller) and Lesli S. Jo (Cornelius Collins); and his grandson Dominic Wonil Feller.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Korean Church of Boston (32 Harvard St, Brookline, MA 02445).
His leadership extended to roles in the LA Christian Ethics Movement and the Korean Language Promotion Foundation.
