Margaret leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Margaret’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Margaret will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Lola Rosoff and Alvin Leonard Newman; and her brother Charles Newman. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Laura Hooper and Benjamin William Hooper; her husband John William Hooper; and her brothers, Lloyd Newman and Seymour Newman. She is also survived by spouses; dozens of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and by her two grand-dogs, who loved her gentle pets.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Larz Anderson Park (360 Goddard Ave, Brookline, MA 02445).
