She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillie Cedar and Julius Cedar; her former husband Michael W. Alssid; her husband Arthur Schleifer; and her brother Bernard Cedar.

She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Alssid (Adam Herzlich) of Brookline and Julian (Robin Alssid) of Barrington, RI; and her grandchildren, Michaela Rosen, Michael L. Alssid, Bella Alssid and Laila Alssid.
