He was predeceased by: his wife Noreen Joan "Bubbie" Drain (Harrison); his parents, John A. Drain and Gertrude Drain (Rogers); and his brothers, John A. Drain, Jr. and Paul Drain.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Drain Madden and Michael R. Drain; his grandchildren, Dorian Lee and Morgan Elizabeth Madden; his sister Laura; and his brother-in-law George Lucier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
