She was predeceased by: her parents, Rochelle Kianovsky and Raphael Kianovsky; and her grandparents, Sol of Milwaukee, Minnie Franklin of Milwaukee, Isaac of Milwaukee and Dora Kianovsky of Milwaukee.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Friedman; her children, Yonit Rose and Samuel Jacob; her brothers, Zev Kianovsky (Arlene Lukin) and Nahum Kianovsky; and her aunt Diane. She is also survived by 11 nieces/nephews and their partners, and many beloved cousins and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Israel of Boston (477 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA 02215). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery (580 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge, MA 02138).
She urged consideration of donations to BIJAN (in lieu of flowers).
